Magnolia Spaces

At Magnolia Spaces, you will find large lots of approximately 2,500 square feet. The layout of the 5 spaces allows for plenty of parking in front of the RV setup locations. There is about 18 feet wide by 90 feet deep of crushed concrete area at the front of each space to be used as an RV pad and parking space. There are about 500 square feet of “Middle Yard” grass area behind each RV space for private use. This area is also the relief area for any pets staying at each of the 5 lots. Pet’s must ALWAYS be on a leash.

There is a “Back Yard” Common Area of about 2,000 square feet for community use. Pets are not allowed in this space. The Common Area is enclosed with a combination of privacy fence and picket fence so children can play safely in an enclosed area. Hopefully this space will allow residents of Magnolia Spaces to spend time enjoying each other’s company. The spaces on each side of Magnolia Spaces (Spaces 1 & 5) have fenced individual back yards. Space 1 on the west is oversized at about 4,500 square feet and has a back yard enclosed with privacy fence on 3 sides and a picket fence in front.

Electric

Your Space comes with 110, 30 and 50 amp outlets.

Water & Sewage

There are two water faucets mounted to your pedestal. You can connect to your camper and have a separate faucet for other uses. Sewer Connections are at each space and require a donut to prevent odors and/or spillage.

Internet and Cable

Internet Service is provided through comcast. Passwords will be provided upon checkin and are changed frequently to minimize unauthorized use of the internet service.

Trash

A trash tote is provided for each location. Residential pickup days are Mondays and Thursdays. Please take your tote to the front west side by the road. This is the left side if you are standing on Plasuela Street looking into Magnolia Spaces.

Lawn and Landscaping

Landscaping services including mowing and trimming are included. Schedules vary based on need, weather and time of year. You will receive email notifications no later than the day before landscaping services will be provided.

Repairs and Maintenance

South Texas RV Repair is available for any repairs you may need at your space or on the road. They are based in Rockport but owned by a Refugio resident and committed to providing great service for residents of Magnolia Spaces.

My wife Ana and I welcome you to Magnolia Spaces in Refugio, Texas! My parents, Julius and Mary Joan Repka, moved to Refugio in 1958. They first lived in a little house just up the road from Magnolia Spaces. In late 1959 or early 1960 they moved to a home at 507 E Plasuela Street, the land on which Magnolia Spaces exists. They had 6 living children when they arrived and 4 additional children were born while they lived at this address, including myself in 1961.

I have some great memories of my childhood years growing up on this land. Hopefully you will enjoy your time at Magnolia Spaces and create some memories of your own! Until developing Magnolia Spaces, I always thought the Magnolia was my Father’s favorite flowering tree. Then recently I learned it was my mom’s favorite! However, I also learned it was my mom’s favorite only because it was my dad’s favorite!

I so love how mom and dad loved each other and try to model their love in my own life relationships. You will find a couple of Magnolia Trees in the fenced common area that are planted in their memory.
